I used to teach a reading discussion class to extremely high level students. In the class I would pair an excerpt from a traditionally ‘important’ piece with a more diverse work – usually one create by someone from a minority group or a female perspective – so that the students could compare and contrast the material. I don’t have any worksheets or anything because we would discuss the works and let the class go where it may.
These readings are generally way above the capabilities of most students, so I don’t know how helpful they will be to anyone, but someone might find these things interesting.
