Somehow, I ended up doing two periods of this, so I will use a few of the things already posted in Lesson 1 and 2. Here are new things:
-Egyptian tomb raiders decoding game with half lesson 1 and half lesson 2.
-a warm-up of ordinal practice, borrowed and simplified: identify with floor of the school a particular room is.
-a Spongebob-themed writing game in which sentences become increasingly scrambled by round. You could do this with teams on whiteboards or with individual students in notebooks -

Made a roleplay activity requiring students to use words/phrases from the previous 2 chapters to create a skit to perform in front of class as a group. PPT gives an example skit and shows process of drawing words/phrases out of a hat, creating a script, then working together to perform.
